So apparently we have a new Secretary of State, and the new head of CIA is a torturer. I begin to suspect we're in the darkest timeline...
And another White House staffer escorted out without his coat or anything else. I keep hoping that we are at the far end of the pendulum swing to crazyland and that sanity will prevail at some point. It would be a bonus if the swing can happen without a great depression or riots, or both.
Laura, be kind to yourself
You as well, I know it isn't easy to make time for being sick but taking care of it early is best. I am by far the oldest and heaviest in the group, so I get to follow geriatric rules. When they are all on one knee doing to free weight I am standing. When they jump up in burpees I walk one leg then the other. I get through the hour pacing myself that way. In another month I expect I will be able to do a lot more. Just doing what I can. My heart rate was 120-130 most of the time, so pretty damn good for my age.
@BenjySarlin: EX-EXXON TEXAN EXEC REX NEXT EX-SEC
That is an impressive headline.
I hate waking up feeling shitty. Like, yesterday I ended up feeling fine after painkillers, but I really hate waking up already feeling like crap. Also, that it's almost 8am and I'm just seeing the sun rise now. Boo. Grump grump grump.
Wow, that is a helluva headline!
Agreed, meara. That is the worst.
I think I have been Words with Friendsing too much because I read the headline and thought about how many points that would be.
My mom's in the hospital. She has pneumonia and the flu--on top of the, you know, cancer. Poor thing. I was just there and she was doing well, and I guess she got sick right when I left. i am mulling over going back down there--she sounds terrible.
Aw, mom of Scrappy, that sounds rough.
She did perk up when discussing the Tillerson firing. Hatred of Trump is keeping her alive.
I'm surprised Rexit took so long. I'm not sure if it's good news or not. Tillerson didn't seem, you know, insane, but it's hard to imagine a less effective Secretary of State.
