Found my stupid badge wedged between the driver's seat and the console where Istg I looked first, but of course I couldn't see it until I looked EVERYWHERE else and resigned myself to needing to get a new one.

What I'm actually annoyed with myself about is that I lost track of time and stayed st work nearly an hour longer than I should have and when I dashed over to the DMV it was still open (I think) but the parking lot was full to overflowing and I could not bring myself to park in the empty lot nearby and trudge over. So I still have going to the DMV to look forward to.

Ah, well. On the right side, Fairfield is having their restaurant week now so I stopped by a taqueria on the way home. They have corned beef tacos for St. Patrick's Day week so of course I got one. Delish. And excellent horchata.

I will cross my fingers that it doesn't turn into what I have. I lost my voice Friday night, Mr. Loomy phoned the on-call doc yesterday to go over my symptoms, and they said I should go to an urgent care clinic. I don't have pneumonia, yay? (That was an option.) And now I have the amazing cough suppressant pills, which are magic.

I went skiing in the mountains yesterday, and had a great day with my sister, felt great (other than sore knees from too many bump runs). Today? Sore throat, coughing, headache. Bollocks.

So for the first time since I moved into this house in 2000, I rolled the tv into my bedroom and I'm drinking ginger-turmeric tea with honey and watching Seth Myers on Youtube.
