Natter 75: More Than a Million Natters Served
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
That's very frustrating, -t!
Matilda was hard to rouse this morning and all are somewhat sluggardly.
I have to go to her school for a 10am meeting with the Principal and the Vice Principal because the creepy Evangelical recruiter who got kicked out is back at the school. This was not the school's decision but came from the District legal department so I'm trying to figure out what's the what.
While I've been strategizing on how to go outside the school process to apply pressure (social media, PTA, School Board, flyers and a megaphone) - I'm not that interested in this becoming the focus of my life. On the flipside, I'm going to be wroth if he is coaching soccer next year.
My kids did fine with the time change, I feel like my head is full of mashed potatoes. Gronkity gronk gronk gronk.
Ugh, David. I had hoped that saga was over. Hope it is solved without major efforts.
But I like my outfit.
This is everything. Mine is theoretically decent as my bits are covered, but I wouldn't want anyone outside my immediate family to see me. Not awful, just flannel inside pants and a t-shirt.
Good luck with that, Sara!
Ugh, -t, I hope you find the badge easily when you get home.
Ugh, David. I hope that doesn't turn into a total cluster.
I am waiting for my new staff member to be ready for lunch, which might not be until 12:30, but I am hungry now!
Well, I had my Skype interview. It looks like the job is grant-based, so I'm a bit less enthused about it. But every interview is another interview experience that can help improve the next one. And I wore my Agent Carter lipstick, which always makes me feel like a badass. Thanks for the ~ma! I release it to the next person who needs it.
Oh grrr David. Good luck.
Best hopes for a good resolution, David.
Laura, my xDiL has you beat--she just left her fifth husband (that's three since she left my son), plus her maiden name, plus at one time she went by her birth father's name. Serial monogamist--I womanfully refrain from telling her she doesn't have to *marry* them.
Amusing (to me, anyway): on a scenic drive yesterday we saw a flock of migratory ducks spread over a flooded field. "Oh look," H observed, "a field of ducks."
I nodded, and replied solemnly, "Autocorrect at work."
Ha! Now I want an opportunity to say "I had one duck and it's gone"
David - it is ridiculous that he is back!
The maids are coming today. Kelly and a friend helped me declutter most of the house. The office didn't get any attention and CJ's room was up to him to clean up.
Normally when they come, they clean upstairs while Crowley and I hang out downstairs and then we swap. Today...not so much. I don't want to crawl up the stairs with him on a leash and me trying to drag my computer with me. So, we are going to keep our couch potato location.
