This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

I'm sure the guys at Best Buy could tell tales of the really strange stuff. If they're smart, they'll skim the best of it for museum pieces and collectors.

Our wings are not tired.

It is very structured, Theodosia. It was a few minutes of weights, a few of body stuff, a few on the rower, repeat several times, then 20 minutes on the treadmill. If I had to guess I would say it works out to 20 min treadmill, 10 min rower, 15 min weights, 15 min other body stuff like squats.

^^ the above stayed in my cache after I lost power momentarily last night and decided it was a sign that I should go read a book. And there it was this morning when I turned on the computer. Gone are the days when you lose everything.

I'm sure you do not look like a clown. Just different than your current mental image of yourself.

I bought makeup for the first time in many many years, but haven't actually tried it because of the startle issue. I know I need to wear sun protection and thought I would combine it with seeing how makeup worked for me. Maybe I'll try it this week some time.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hands up if your coworker said she'd be available to work from 9-1 and you didn't trust her and set your alarm for 9:30 and she's still not online.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Apparently yours in the only hand up, Dana.

I have done a laundry and made my pork pie. AND done the dishes!

Whaaaaat. Noooo.

I did discover that I was wrong about what time I fly out tomorrow, and I can work a whole day. So I stopped working today. I hope my coworker logs on prepared to apologize and finds a total lack of me.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Usual quiet Sunday here. We just got back from lunch and groceries and Gary took Mr. S to the playground to let him run around a bit. Me? I have a cat on my lap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And of course by "in" I meant "is."

I also cleaned the cat box!

Now off to band, even though I'm tired. I realized part of why it's so great: I literally can't think about anything else while I'm there, because I'm working so hard to get the music.

Seconding this.

I know I need to wear sun protection and thought I would combine it with seeing how makeup worked for me.

If anyone needs recommendations for makeup that has sun protection, let me know.

You know why I don't want all-year DST (or ST)? Because the clever little DST button on my radio-alarm clock that I press twice a year will be rendered purposeless.

As I usually do twice a year, I reflect that the DST button is either the most clever or most stupid thing ever.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I replaced my bedside alarm clock with an Echo Spot and now all the clocks in the house except for the stove and microwave are smart enough to reset themselves.
