Finally got around to using the Amazon gift card my brother and his family gave Mr. S for Hanukkah. He is now playing with one of the toys I ordered, a car trailer with 4 race cars.(The truck/trailer has an arm with a magnet on it to pick up the cars)

I had to work, but it was while watching The Handmaiden, so that was pretty awesome.
I ended up watching the remainder of Detectorists a charming Britcom about the people who use metal detectors to find treasure -- or the tabs from soda cans, et cetera -- among the English countryside.
I just renewed Acorn so I could watch that (and other things).
I've been working on my performance evaluation, so you can imagine how much progress I'm making on work that I've been avoiding and how little progress I've been making on the evaluation.
Oh, Theo, is that the show that buried the prop Roman coins that some real life metal detector hobbyists found and thought heyd struck it rich?
My day would have gotten calmer if I'd set my hair on fire. Got nothing done I'd hoped to, nothing I'd dreaded, everything I hadn't expected. And I had a leaf raking hangover.
