With luck, Gary and I will go see Black Panther this coming weekend.

Gotta say, I looked at the weather in LA, where I will be at a con this weekend, and I am not impressed. LA is supposed to be an escape from cold and miserable weather, and no, it doesn't matter that I probably won't leave the hotel.
Yesterday I discovered that Sunday is the busiest day of the week at the library.
Yes - it was my first Sunday shift: I get one a month.
I was exhausted by the end of the day.
Today - I expected to be busier because it's President's Day and school's are closed. So far: nice and calm.
Sorry, Dana. LA is having our version of winter this week. We had spring last week.
I checked the Slack at work, and this is what one of my co-workers put up: "I looked outside and Kurt Russell asked if I was still human, because he knows he's still human."
As I put in Facebook, policemen told me they were closing the road up to work when I got there, so I came home. It's still snowing with 25 mph winds up there. Hopefully they don't eat each other.
Husband is on the phone with a potential realtor for a potential house sale if we end up potentially moving, and she knows the guy we were referred to when we bought the house up here. She's originally from Atlanta and has been in Texas for ages.
She tells us she used to be partners with Realtor #1, "and that's all I'm going to say about that."
Over the course of a 20 minute conversation, that was not all she had to say about that. Shania Twain was quoted twice. Also, she (realtor, not Shania) wears a size 2.

Ha!
I just had dinner with an old friend from high school who is looking to change careers, and is there anything more satisfying that having your experiences seen as expertise? I say there is not.
Gosh, those French skaters.
And the Canadian woman skater has bruises on her back. Maybe that's why they normally wear backs.
I just want to say, I say, out loud, usually just to myself, "I have both been there and ate the t-shirt. Let me hold your hand," which I think is from an Angel recap from here from maybe 16 years ago, all the time. (Nobody gets it, which is why I say it only to myself. But out loud!)
