So Alfred is basically now Batman's tech support instead of his butler?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
That's the modern butler's role, wine and tech support.
Woohoo, payroll has confirmed I donot need to punch the timeclock any more. Hooray!
That sounds great, Strix.
It's really obvious where Joss' humor is shoe-horned into the movie.
Wow, really Jess? That kind of expense awareness just strikes me as silly.
It's so stupid. Anyone I cut from this list is going to be invited anyway as a plus-one from someone on the list, because I'm 100% sending out a follow-up email to the original invitation saying "Please feel free to bring along anyone I forgot", and in reality, historically, leaving drinks for middle managers like me are NOT out of control ragers. Like maybe 40 people will show up, and of those, most will leave after one drink to catch their train.
That sounds like a good plan, Jessica. Also, if I were able to teleport I would totes crash that party!
Yeah, well, not knowing anything specific of how your coworkers socialize, that's all what I would have guessed. So stupid.
A couple of years ago we had some kind of pulse check where one of the VPs met with each employee to chat about how whatever and I brought up my disdain for the locking-the-supply-closet approach to cost-cutting and she (the VP) was super defensive about it. At the time I was deep in not giving any fucks, which I guess I am getting back to. Yay?
Random thought apropos of nothing - the Maid-Mother-Crone goddess construction is kind of male gaze-y, no?
This movie sure is full of contractually obligated actors.
As much as I enjoy Momoa, in all of his Momoa-ness, I'm not sure his Aquadude belongs in this movie.
At least Superman seems to have returned from the dead with an actual sense of humor.
