Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I do think it helped that it's been raining all day.

Our wings are not tired.

Best type of election quandary in my city for elections next month. The commission seats are easy enough but so far I am stuck on the Mayor position. I am confident both are good for the city and have shared interests and concerns, also both competent. One I know because I have been in his home watching one of the debates in a get out the vote gathering for Hillary. A beautifully renovated home in a very sketchy old neighborhood, which kinda shows his commitment to the city. The other I met when she knocked on my front door and we had a nice long chat. The only thing that might give the edge to her is that he seems to have tighter bonds with 'the establishment' which here is developers, also he probably got questions in advance on the debate, which also relates to ties. I have another month to do my research, but it is nice to know we are in good hands no matter what the outcome.

Monday should not = NoNatterday!

Major house sale ~ma Request! We haven't put the house on the market again yet because we were doing this that and the other thing. THEN out of the blue DH's cousin calls and has someone looking to buy in our exact area. Perfect fit. Single dad successful business owner. His child is 4, and the house is on a park where all the kids play with lots of age appropriate stuff. He entertains often for business and my house is perfect for entertaining. His office is a mile away and he knows and loves the area. Cousin is a business associate and he told her he was looking and she is bringing him at 9:30 in the morning. This could be it. This neighborhood is where the doctors, business owners, and other young up and comings all want to live at the moment so I feel really good about it.

Vibes of all manner are appreciated. Poor St. Joseph would also like to be dug up again since he has been out in the yard a long time.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

House sale ~ma, Laura! That sounds like a perfect fit!

I haven't gotten a work email in 2 hours. Highly suspicious.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Woo, sending the house-ma!

I don't have anything exciting to share for nattering -- I'm just mopping, making a pot roast and going to see two houses tonight, neither of which look super-exciting.

We are looking later this week at a house with a small pool. It's $1000 a year extra for opening, closing, chemicals and maintenance and while I would totally LIVE in it all summer, and would have people over all the time, I'm eyeballing our finances. But it won't hurt to look...and it's two blocks from our current house and we love our location.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Fingers crossed on the house, Laura

And good luck on the house hunting, Strix
