It was! It was informational, letting people know who the board is and how it works and a bit about the challenges it faces (lack of funding, mostly,and people not really understanding what it is). I left with a lot more questions and am trying to figure out what I can do to help them.

We should be discussing how to step up and protect the marginalized people who are currently in actual physical danger. Lives are more important than figuring out why this happened right now.
