My best friend and his wife got me one of those ceramic microwave egg cookers for Christmas and it's vastly upped my egg consumption. Not boiled, of course, but cracking a couple of eggs into it and cooking for about 1:40 gets me one of those round egg mcmuffin patties.
I used to just do that in a little glass bowl when I had a microwave. Super convenient!
My mother did the wings trick with the baking soda and they were fab! She didn't do the Full Kenji, even.
I just deep dove Janet Jackson videos for halftime and... um
Accidentally ended up at Zendaya and Tom Holland's lip synch battles because it's not my fault but I'm still ok with it.
Go sportsball.
Dana hope you figured it out, but TJ's doesn't close here, that's for sure--though it was a MADHOUSE beforehand, I'm betting it's empty now.
Naturally, after I insisted that the restaurants were closed, the Thai place that husband insisted on was open. Just to spite me. And then we went to TJs.
Laura, next time you're peeling pre-boiled eggs, run them under cold water while you peel. The water gets between the egg white and the shell and the shell slips off without you having to carve it out of the egg white.
Bev, I did try that but ended up with egg salad with the hopeless eggs. However! I did go and buy the pre-boiled and peeled variety for the deviled eggs and it was so easy peasy!
My Pats fan son left during half time and watched the rest of the game with fans, so we were able to celebrate without restraint. Whee, past my bedtime, but pleased overall with the evening.
P.M. is me re steaming the eggs. Always done perfectly, super easy to do.
I can't believe I am jealous that Beth got a root canal already. I am told my exam will be today and my treatment in the future I don't sell pain well
My small town grocery store closed for the super bowl, although I am pretty sure we may have just closed at 5or 6 on Sundays regardless for a time. We also closed mid day on good Friday to go to church and opened again in the evening, which was annoying because I basically had to hang around for four hours while people went to church and had supper and then go back to work.
I am not a big football fan, but I really enjoyed the game. Very exciting, and it was worth it just for this: [link]

Oh yes! That was awesome. The family crowd loved it too. Considering it was the only game I watched all year it was pretty satisfying. Good game, particularly if an Eagles fan. I thought JT did a good job with the half time and I didn't mind the Prince tribute because of the Minneapolis element. I don't remember being impressed with the ads, but then again I had forgotten the delightful NFL promo, so maybe I just have a bad memory!
