Kat and Jessica, hugs and support and well-placed pissy comments ~ma, as needed.
My family refusing to admit the existence of my Black boyfriend was the final straw that caused me to break off communication with all of them except my mom and my sister. (They were not being supportive, I just love them enough to forgive them. The rest could go fuck themselves.)
Sophia, sorry about the tooth woes. I hope you can find some ease to the pain.
Strix, cautious congratulations! I hope you get the cute house!
Scrappy, belated be-careful! Scrappy's husband, sleep less deeply, dude!
Amy, that's so sweet! It's good to know how you were appreciated, isn't it?
Laura, some people get so ugly and mean when inheritances are at stake. Really lets you know who's who. Good luck with all that!
msbelle, go you, handling all that business like a BOSS!
So I'm gonna store it up and trot it out when I'm really pissed about something because that's the mature and healthy thing to do, right?
Damn straight. She deserves it. (Personally, I'm OVER treating random assholes better than they treat me. Nobody on the Low Road gives a shit about anybody who takes the High Road.)
I left at the second intermission (Swan lake is 4 acts, with an intermission after act 1 and after act 2). Decided I am tired and was by myself and fuck it. I've seem swan lake before.

Tired of losing sleep over family drama, and my brother's birthday is tomorrow. Ugh. I'll probably call, and he probably won't pick up and I'll leave a message. I don't know yet.
Amazing dry cleaner update: the guy who used to work there called my mother, and he has her tablecloth! Apparently he liberated it? So she can go pick it up at his new job.
Also I finally got and put together my new table and chairs, and they are great! I will take pictures when I get the old ones out of the way and vacuum, etc. (Actually, I only put together one chair, so more of that now. And in all cases, all the assembly was putting on legs!)
Putting on legs is the definitely the best kind of assembly!
Indeed! The table is slightly wonky, but I think I can get it.
AND Buddy loves his new bed! He's got some quirks, but he is great at doing Cat Things.

I am afraid to say something, but my pain seems to have subsided. At this moment I am ready to do what my mom did and have all my teeth pulled. Weird thing, I seem to be able to open my mouth now. I have a tiny mouth, very small lower jaw , Cant Breathe Through My Nose WIith My Mouth Open And Can Only Open Two Fingers Worth. I Can get three fingers Now.
I have not been as productive as msbelle, but I did find some screws that were the right size to fix our dining chairs with loose leg supports, and I fixed the mistake our kitchen contractors made when they put the thermostat back on the wall. (It's hard to describe, but basically there are three pieces that all snap together, and two of them are supposed to be attached to the wall so you can pull the faceplate off and see where all the wires are connected. They didn't screw the middle piece to the wall so it was coming off with the faceplate which makes it really hard to troubleshoot when the thing throws error messages. So I had to pry those two pieces apart and screw the middle piece into the baseplate where it belongs.)
