Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, that is bullshit.

I'm pretty happy with my IUD finally, for what that's worth.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I blame the double blue super moon.

Not really. That is some bullshit, though, for sure. Bodies!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I *so* would have gotten IUD #3 after #2 hit its expiration date and had to come out, except apparently my cervix is made of steel and I almost passed out from the pain caused by trying to insert it. Like, my *doctor* was the one who said, "Yeah, I don't feel comfortable continuing this, because you're pale and sweating."

I loved my IUD, man. No period for 10 1/2 years. Also no babies, which was the point. But Tim got snipped last year after my cervix of steel hung up a "No Room At The Inn This Means You, IUD" sign, so it's all good on the no-babies front.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

OMG, I'm totally blaming the moon!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm blaming the super red blue moon for this not-yet-period that's thinking about it but won't just go on and get it over with.

Our wings are not tired.

In random election news, I made DH go to the polls with me and vote last Tuesday in a tiny district primary for a state seat. The turnout is generally so low for these things I just feared a 1 vote loss for the much better choice and didn't want to risk the guilt. Apparently I wasn't alone in this thought.

My gal 12450 vs the other guy 540! Go district 31 Dems for showing up!

Huh. Sudden team meeting from the big boss at HQ. Always makes me nervous.

Ah. A bit of shuffling at the VP level. Nothing to worry about.
