Wow, that's a lot of picture texts, David!!
Fingers crossed for you, -t!
I wish my cousins lived closer. I'm so jelly that they live right near each other and near their parents and their kids are so close in age, it's awesome. But I wouldn't want to leave my friends/city.
Sometimes I think my entire job is being astonished at the wasteful ways people do things. Or their inability to figure out how to do things on the computer.
I would want to go out and cuddle the Pallas Cat.
-t. I get the caution. I have been dangled a promotion to basically do the same job for a year and a half. I don't really think it will ever happen unless I get an offer somewhere else. But this sounds more decimate- it has a date! Our bS thing on salary is that supposedly you can only ever get a 10% raise within the university no matter how many pay grades you go up. Which I know is not true because I have received a larger than 10% raise three times. I mean, it is true there is a policy, but policies can be broken.
I'm thinking Tino got to Fred.
Having observed Hec attempting to cope with Fred for years now, I'm thinking Tino and Fred go back a long way together.
Are you saying there's some connection between Fred and Tino?
I see what you did there, Jesse.
Mushu the Pallas Cat was lured into a trap with some mice and is no longer on the run. He didn't go far, just snuggled into a small construction yard not far from his exhibit, and he's safe and warm now. Sadly, he did not get to fight crime with an octopus buddy--That We Know Of!
Howdy! Popping in quickly to ask for some travel advice.
I am planning to go on a work conference in Madrid in late April that goes from Saturday to Tuesday, which will go toward my conference leave (we are allowed 5 days a year). I can take the rest of the week to see something of Spain. I can do either 1) Barcelona, or 2) Seville +/- Granada but not both with the 3-4 extra days I have. Which should I pick? I have no Spanish and I feel like Barcelona would be easier travel-wise, but... Alhambra! Seville-Granada would definitely mean more travel time and hustling though.
Counter the Alhambra with the Sagrada Familia and throw in Barcelona's flourishing nightlife as a bonus?
I loved Barcelona the brief while I was there, but I haven't been to the others for comparison. They might be even more delightful.
