I realize that makes me sound racist toward Orcs.
It's management's fault. Unreasonable deadlines, crappy budgets, no one listening to the Orc on the ground. Damn the man.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I don't know, the orcs seemed pretty industrious with their construction projects at Isengard. I wouldn't expect the roads to be pretty, but they might be serviceable.
Maybe, but they made all that armor too and, honestly, it didn't seem to do much good.
No one said they were going to be going up against a guy who could summon the dead. Not to mention the magic swords.
I'm excited because tonight there's a "ghost tour" of Music Hall, which is Cincinnati's big, gorgeous, old (built in 1878) performance hall where the symphony/opera/pops/etc. perform. Music Hall is allegedly one of the most haunted places in Cincinnati. [link]
Now, I've never personally experienced any kind of paranormal event, but I have an open mind. That said, for real, the ONLY reason I'm doing this tour is that we get to go in all the parts of Music Hall that people never get to see when they're there only for a concert. Any paranormal activity would just be a bonus.
The tour is led by a group called "The Cincinnati Research & Paranormal Studies team." So basically Ghostbusters. This is going to be so great.
That sounds fabulous, Teppy!
Have fun, Tep! The ghost tour I went on in Suisun a couple years ago was pretty disappointing, but yours sounds great regardless of paranormal whatever.
Ugh, a kid I knew from the beer scene in New Orleans died suddenly yesterday. He wasn't even 30. It's not known what happened yet. I barely knew him, but had a few interactions with him and he was such a sweet, smart guy. It sucks.
The website says that people can bring ghost-hunting equipment if they have it. And, surprisingly, that's the one thing we don't have in the attic.
Although Tim's oldest brother DOES have an EMF meter, because he is convinced his house is haunted. I think he's even had ghost hunters come to his house to check it out. We were going to borrow the EMF meter, but then neither one of us wanted to carry it around. Clearly, we are slackers.
Nora, wow, that's so young. That really does suck. I'm sorry.
