I'm validatin credit card statements, and an employee I don't know just became my favorite by noting "A lot of butter, I don't remember why" in his explanation for a receipt. Coded under Culinary Experimental Material, so legit, but funny

LOL, kind of awesome.

Less awesome: Just saw a Subaru commercial where the voiceover lady is all "I was born in the winter of 77" blah blah she got married after college, had twins, but then they were in a horrible accident in their car, but because it was a Subaru it was All Good...and then it shows her twins, now wearing graduation robes and caps.

SUBARU. I AM 40. I was born in 77. And I would've had to get married and then be pregnant with those twins like a month after graduation, for them to be graduating now?? You couldn't say born in 75, or 73 or something??

With Diamox, I forget the scientific name. It speeds up acclimitization, although the side effect is that you pee a LOT, like constantly. But even with Diamox and 7 days at altitude, getting up to 19,400 ASL was hella hard. I had a headache at the summit, although I didn't get confused or anything

Cool! I got a prescription for that when I went to Chile, because we went up to about 14K feet. Luckily we were able to acclimate over a few days, going to like 8 and 10 and 11K first, so I didn't end up taking the diamox. I've never been to 19K but even at 14 you could tell how quickly it tired you out and how thin the air was

High school graduation, though? If the twins are 17/18, she had them at 23.

Unrelatedly, someone remind me not to go argue with/smack down early 20s gothlings who are posting sweeping gatekeeper statements on FB, complete with throwing around the word "poser". It'll just make me cranky.

I have pictures of testicles if you think they'll help.

It took me a couple of months to adjust to living in Utah at 4,800 ft from the few hundred I lived at in Pennsylvania.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Jilli, I have never heard of bi-polar like that. Fascinating.

The mental health community is moving away from the "Bi-polar I" and "Bi-Polar II" designations, and now consider it more on a spectrum, with hypomania and depression being hallmarks without accompanying manic phases. When I first talked with the new psych last year, he said, "Oh yeah, that's where you are", and really helpful. I just wonder if my meds decrease in efficiency when I'm under huge amounts of stress.

My mental health, let me tell you! Also, let me show you my tag of Pete Wentz is not an emotional role model.
