Timelies all!
I know I should get some winter boots so I can keep my feet warm and dry when it snows. The problem I have is two-fold: First I need to find where to get snow boots for my wide feet(as in, D or EE width)and Second I need to have the time to go out and get them, if I find someplace local for them.
msbelle, I'm really sorry about your friend.
Gizmo, good kitty!
sumi, glad you're enjoying the library!
I still can't convince myself to spend a lot of money on anything. Like with boots. Even if they last 10 years, won't I be tired of them before then?
msbelle, I'm so sorry about your friend.
Sheryl, I just found this site for my mom, who needs extra extra wide shoes: www.healthyfeetstore.com.

It's so true! My problem is never having the "$50" to spend.
But when I found that full-length Talbot's raincoat in my size while thrifting, I bought it. For $25, that *will* last me forever.
That is the best, Amy.
Sheryl, what about Zappos?
But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years.
I also feel like these expensive boots I have haven't lasted long enough! But they were amazing for a while. And are still fine in dry weather.
The problem with Zappos is that I don't have the time to get to the post office to send back stuff that doesn't fit.
And juliana beats me to the Vimes. Well done!
(Hi, folks. I'm here and reading, just lacking time/energy to post.)
Stoooopid foot. I get it hurting when I've been doing a bunch of walking, but today I've been working, crafting, and writing a paper. Very little actual walking around. And yet. Stooooopid foot.
I'm so sorry msbelle
