You're welcome, -t! The weather cooperated but my brain did not. I slept 12 hours, didn't get up until 2, and took another 2 hour nap at 6. I feel like crap. It finally occurred to me that I've been having a period for almost 2 weeks (fucking perimenopause) and at the same time I ran out of my iron supplements a week ago... so maybe it isn't too weird that I'm tired and shaky and can't focus. I got more iron supplements today.

Man, the camera on the SE is really damn good. Even the front-facing camera is sharp. We are living in the dang future.
I have achieved a goal I've long wanted--I've set the theme for the old British show Scrapheap Challenge as my ringtone. It's lots of metallic banging and heavy bass, though I would like to remove the couple of seconds of skidding rubber from the beginning of the file. I am going to have fun with ringtones.

Welp, the folks at the animal clinic gave Gizmo a bath yesterday afternoon before turning him over to me, and last night he peed all over himself and the cat carrier rather than use the litter box three feet away. And this morning I wasn't quick enough to realize that he wasn't playfully scratching a rug, but preparing to use it in lieu of the litter box. So he smelled good for maybe all of 8 hours.

Did the vet neuter him, Matt? If so, the inappropriate peeing may abate as the testosterone leaves his system. We can live in hope, anyway.
They did, he's been neutered for almost a month now. It may just be that the surroundings are so different from the cage and mini litter box he's used to. I had to lead him back to his food bowl at lunchtime, and he definitely knows what that's for!
