Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is a good one!

Another good story, if you don't listen to Studio 360: Angie Thomas, the author of The Hate U Give, about her childhood and TLC. I won't say more, because you should really listen. [link]

OK! I have done some clean-up shoveling, in preparation for the Big Melt coming this week and have laundry in. Now I have to take down Christmas, but I don't feel like it!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Wedding shower was laid back and fun. I survived the day pain wise, which is a HUGE win. Now I have a ton of left over chili. Which is FINE. I'm going to freeze a bunch of it in quart sized baggies. Easy meal prep!!!

Today is SCHOOL, SCHOOL, and more SCHOOL. Wheeee. One assignment down. Mumblefourmumble to go.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Have now gotten groceries for the week, with an assist from my MIL.(she pushed Mr. S in the stroller while I got stuff) Now Mr. S is napping(or at least he's in his room being quiet) and I get a breather.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Chadwick Boseman just introduced the pre-game coverage of the football game. It was very dramatic.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Thanks for the link, Jesse. Can't wait to listen.

I got super sick last night and wondered about my life choices because I couldn't get my stomach to settle. Second bad stomach upset in 8 days. I wonder what is going.

Then I finally got to sleep around 6:00 and my mom facetimed me at 6:40 because she think Dad is on his last few days. I haven't gotten out of bed yet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no, Kat. Staying in bed sounds right.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

To think I almost missed the Morocco story scrolling past all the cat butt! Whitefont exists for a reason, people.

It is yucky and damp outside, but we have degrees, plural, so I guess I won't complain. Debating about a Target or Costco run.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh, Kat. I hope you are at least getting some more sleep.

I need to go to Target, but I may push that to tomorrow just so I don't have to put shoes on today.
