this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We are appraching the part of winter in which I am grateful for any temperature above 0 rathe more rapidly than I had hoped.

Man, it's 5 degrees here. That is NOT ON. Even wool socks aren't keeping my toes warm. The best I can say is that they're keeping my toes from being totally frozen and numb.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Plan tonight is sleep before midnight and then get up before 10 tomorrow. I haven't been up before noon for several days.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I guess I had to get one more migraine in before the end of the year. I woke up with my head pounding, fed the cats, showered, and crawled back into bed with a towel still wrapped around my wet hair. At some point I moved to the sofa and the next time I got up was to feed the cats again. Crashed on the sofa again and finally woke up able to look at things for more than a few minutes around 10pm. Gilda has been my buddy all day. I think she tries to stay in physical contact with me as much as possible when I have a migraine.

Laura, your day sounds lovely. You should do that more often.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, Gilda. I certainly hope that's the last of that for the year. Actually, I hope you are migraine-free for longer than that, but st minimum the balance of 2017.

Librarian Warlord

It stars time traveling librarians and thieves if that is relevant to your interests.

I hope you got the librarians right, or you will never hear the end of it from me!

We are packing up our whole house and moving to an apt this week so that our renovation can start on Jan 4th. I am in that place where part of my brain is telling me it would have been easier to set fire to the whole place.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's "feels like - 1" where I am, but the friends I'm visiting have a Breville espresso machine so it's not all bad.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Good girl, Gilda.

Our wings are not tired.

Gilda is indeed a good girl.

Not sure what I am doing today. I do think I will stay home tonight because the dog will be a mess with all the fireworks. I'll probably give her a peanut butter dosed with Benedryl treat about 8 and see if she falls asleep before the city has their 9 PM fireworks. I'll go around and close windows and turn up the volume on the tv. All this will not work, but I try anyway.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I picked up a head cold at some point during my MI travels. Since I'm on vacation anyway, at least I can drug myself and sleep through the worst of it. Still, tiresome. Sorry about the migraine, aurelia
