Ugh, we're predicted to have sub-zero wind chills the next two nights and single digit actual temperatures New Year's Eve. I like the winter, but it's making it difficult to this year. I wish there had been a more gradual transition from high 60s to bone-chilling winds cutting through me like a knife.

Attempting to fan warmer weather in your direction, but sorry, it doesn't seem to be working. Yes, I have windows open and lovely weather, but I also have Mar-A-Lago and its current occupant around the corner. Yuck. His presence makes the usually stressed at the height of seasons roadways even worse. I imagine it is an issue cruising the intracoastal checking out Christmas lights too, but I haven't tried that this year. I'll wait until he goes away.

I'm back home from MI. It was single digit temps when I left and still below freezing when I arrived home, but without the solace of snow. At least I have a cat who is glad to have his warm lap back.
