"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am sick to my stomach and also want to eat everything in the house.

That sounds like a completely appropriate reaction.

Thrive to spite them

I am so sorry msbelle. I'm glad mac is ok .

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

mac was just in a wreck and the car is totaled. so that happened, not even 1 week with the license.

Holy fuck.

I'm glad he's okay.

Emmett was just telling me how glad he was that he wasn't driving as a teenager. "I was in a car with a 16 year old driving and it was the most terrifying experience of my life!"

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, mac, no, mac, no.

I got nothing else, msbelle; I'm sitting here starting to sympathetically hyperventilate just thinking about it.

(Yes, Catholics still fast, but the fast has now been reduced to 1 hour before communion, not even 1 hour before mass, so really about 20 minutes before mass starts. Some people bring their Starbucks mugs in with them, but most people consider that tacky (also, I am pretty sure they would only dare to try coffee shenanigans in San Francisco)).

Oh jeez, msbelle. It's not any consolation, but I was in an accident within a week of my license. But car wasn't totallled.

Dominic got his learner's permit today. He's not super excited to be driving, especially cause he knows when he gets to drive solo, it will be one of his dad's car picks, not mom's.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac will probably never have main use of a car again until after he graduates. he still has no job and he will have to save money towards the next one.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I am sick to my stomach and also want to eat everything in the house.

That sounds like a completely appropriate reaction.

I second this. Not only an appropriate reaction, but probably the only one that doesn't involve throttling the kid.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh dear, msbelle, that is no bueno. Glad he's okay, though.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Thank God everyone is safe!

I think given that, maybe it's a good thing that Mac not have an independent means of transportation while still a minor?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm so glad everybody is okay. You need massive hugs, msbelle.

StY crashed a friend's car the first week he had his lisence. Our insurance paid, but our premium tripled.

Karma exists, though, because one of his "friends" totaled StY's motorcycle, and never paid a dime.
