Ugh, I have no Xmas spirit this year. Shopping today just Scrooginated away what little Xmas happy I had left. AND it gifted me with a migraine. I think it's going to be all baking, all the time this year. DH says he got gifts for people, so I hope he's taken care of it.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I can help you online search for things if you are interested. I myself have almost nothing. Half of the gift for brother and brother-in-law, that's it.
Mac is kinda done for since I got the new car radio, but I need something else for him. maybe just $$, that is all he seems to want in the price range.
Parents? ugh - I think I will go look what shows are coming to town and maybe do that.
You are a dear, msbelle
My people are very food focused, so baking is surprisingly effective when it comes to creating Christmas cheer
I always get my dad and his wife each something smallish (this year an artsy calendar for her & DVDs for him), then I get a groupon to a local restaurant for them both.
I am opting out of the department White Elephant exchange because gift giving is stress I don't need at the moment.
Y'all, I am so excited to have two days with no work, no rehearsals, no time commitments except to myself. Now curling up in bed with Popeye's and a bottle of wine and not leaving until the sun is up tomorrow!
I'm regifting something for the work White Elephant exchange that I got at a different White Elephant exchange last year. [sings] It's the circle of liiiiiife! [/sings]
Did my annual buy-every-bath-bomb-at-LUSH for the SIL. My car smells like a Lush now. Found her some fancy sheets, too. As I drove by the Senator theater, waved to the stormtrooper hanging out front.
I think I'll go to a SW showing in a couple of hours. Looks like I can get a good seat. Mac has no interest in SW which I view as a parenting fail.
Timelies all!
So I'm taking Mr. S out of his car seat, when I notice his shoes are off.(not unusual for him) I am only able to find one shoe. I look around, but only one shoe. Gary goes out to have a look around, and lets me know the side mirror on the passenger side of my car is broken.(The mirror itself is intact, but the casing is gone.) Joy.
I will bring the car into the dealer Monday morning.
Also, we are not going to get to see The Last Jedi this weekend, as Gary's mom is out of town this weekend. Maybe New Year's Day we'll see it.
