Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We have about 3 inches outside, and it's still falling. I made a sledding playdate for D tomorrow, so I hope it doesn't turn to slush!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Chimichangas for dinner tonight, as I just discovered my favorite Mexican place does delivery.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Laura, yes I have a guest rom, you should come.

Jesse, yes, Mac is in the master and I am in what was the guest. So his old room is now guest. It will allow me to repaint his old room soonish. Also gives me the bigger bathroom and means I know it will be cleaner for guests.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Today is a surprising 59. It is warm, at least when you aren't in the shade.

Isn't this December?!? We have only had one storm since October that resulted in snow sticking, though it was only for a day or two.

Crowley had his first manners class today. It covered a lot of what I've trained him to do, but now he had more distractions, other people, and other dogs. We are going to do a private class to work on leash aggression.

It will allow me to repent his old room soonish.

Interesting. How do you do that?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

No snow here, although it was 42 when I woke up this morning, brrr.

2 weeks until my huge bucket-list vacation starts, and I really need to stop buying things for it. Except what came today is this really cool super weird head-rest for sleeping on planes. I have 4 10+ hour flights in the next month, and I get terrible neck problems from sleeping against the window or the headrest. I hope it helps!

Our wings are not tired.

Oh that looks comfy, Consuela! Let us know if it works.

I am going to a high school play tonight because I am a big softy. One of the parents was bemoaning the lack of audience in a post on the neighborhood board. 15 in the audience in a theater that holds 700. Also she complained that the principal didn't even bother to show. The principal has a good excuse since she is at the final game of the state championship for football. So, I told DH I wanted to go to watch the show. He is coaching the same school's basketball team's game this afternoon, but agreed that it would be nice to go and applaud for the thespians. (I really hope I can tell them they did a good job and won't have to sneak out without facing them)

To add more details. Yes, I get that sports brings in the big bucks and all that; however, the play isn't even mentioned anywhere on the entire school website. They don't even mention they have a theater department. Also, no mention in the city calendar of events. The drama department needs to get with the publicity. Lack of audience could be because no one knows there is a show! I am curious to see if the scrolling message board in front of the school says anything, but 100% sure that it will only talk about football.

brillig

I don't know if my high school plays were only filled by family, but we always got a crowd. Then there was Hubby in his L.A high school days, when a theater critic from the L.A. Times would show up. He got his letterman letter in Drama. But it was L.A., after all, and actors come from somewhere.
