Today at work I was asked (along with about 40 office staff) to essentially improve a rowdy town hall scene. We were even assigned to be either for or against the speaker. That may be the most absurd thing I've ever known of a director to do in preparation for a design meeting.
Wait- he asked the non-acting theatrical staff to improv! I probably would have left. I left my theater honor society induction rather than improv.
I have to get my teeth cleaned today (in less than an hour), and I haven't been flossing enough. I am braced for the lecture. (Why is it so damn hard for me to floss? Get it together, Beckmeyer.)
Unrelatedly, we are seeing Puddles Pity Party tonight for the second time this year, since his post-AGT tour brought him back through Cincinnati. SO EXCITE.
Wow, I have 38 cents credit with Barnes & Noble! I'll rush right over and buy something.
You got the "spend the settlement already" email, too, Connie?
I hope all of our LA people are safe.
I've done so much cleaning the last two weeks. Started off kinda slow, but moving bedrooms and bathrooms necessitates it. SO MUCH DUST. the behind things and under things dust. And the stupid detritus of life, the plastic thingies that hold price tags on and safety pins SO MANY OF THOSE. And mac has pencils and pens EVERY WHERE.
I have started working on my to do list for this day off, but my legs are kinda hurting, so sitting is easier. WAH! cannot waste a whole day off without mac home.
Right. 1 cleaning thing, 1 making $ thing - repeat until break needed. BREAK! I mean GO!
I was thinking about everyone in LA too - not on Facebook right now, so missing updates.
I was just peeking to see if the LA-istas have checked in and are all right.
