Stupid day. Someone tried to break into my garage (but failed.) Did enough damage I decided to take off the lock and attach it more securely. But rain was coming and I didn't want to do it in the dark and rain. So skipped swim to do that and then made cookies, which came out odd. Not my best effort.

I had a BLT for lunch rather than a muffaletta, and opted to buy groceries tonight. But Friday night I'll either treat myself to one or to Guinness beef stew at the neighborhood Irish pub.

So concerned for all the people, including Buffistas, in the path of the fires. I can only imagine how nerve wrecking it must be. Wishes for breathable air and favorable weather. We may get hurricanes, but we get lots of warning and they don't move so quickly.

I like that resolution.
I would try that too, but I'm starting to think that some kinds of booze are migraine triggers. I haven't wanted to experiment too much, but I'm currently leery of red wine, beer, and whiskey :( and seem to be okay with white wine and tequila.
