My job is stressing me out, because I'm never doing enough or enough of the right things or something. I think it will be OK, but JFC. I think it's partly because people's sense of urgency here is weird. My boss was telling me to do some planning and meeting and stuff, in a way that made me feel like I should have already done it, but then suggested I do it in January! Well, shit. So now I'm stressed out about it AND it's fine! Catch up, brain.

I hear ya Jesse. I keep thinking it will get better...my current hope is once I'm off the one project I'm on the new one will be better? But it could be frying pan into the fire situation. Eek.

Ooof, I've had two friends told (for years) they were crazy/hysterical/all-in-their-head despite manifesting physical symptoms for major chronic illness. And yes, the medical gaslighting is incredibly damaging. Gee, were they both women? You know how hysterical women get.

I hear ya Jesse and meara. I have no idea how to prioritize what duties I have been shown how to do, so I just do whatever and occasionally someone will say something is actually urgent but mostly nothing seems to be and it's very weird.

Due to one thing and another, I got to/had to devote a good bit of attention this week to a project I've been neglecting, due to other priorities and general not-enough-hours-in-the-day. So it's great to have moved some of it off my desk and to have been able to impose a little order on it. But now I have a pretty good handle on how Very Far Behind I am. I miss ignorance.
