Sugared cranberries in Prosecco are yummy and delightful to watch fizz!
D woke up sick on Thanksgiving and is STILL sick. Took off today and will work from home tomorrow. I am, knock wood, unscathed.
Y'all, housetraining Loxie is a challenge. I've been active in housetraining 6 dogs over the years and none of them have been as happily oblivious as this beagle. And she learned sit the first week, so she's a smart little girl. And she goes out all the time! We have a nice backyard! She's out 6x a day, and 2 sessions are 45 mins with fetch and chase unless it's nasty -- but 5 mins in the house and...squat.
One of her nicks is Puddles. And Wiggles, to be fair. She's sweet as cake.
{{msbelle}} Not fun, I hope it is a much better day.
And I am HORRIBLE at keeping secrets.
Upside, you can spill to us!

Ugh, that sounds frustrating. I haven't had puppies, but have had mine do that in a new environment. Mostly I kept them contained right in front of me until I broke it.
I feel like "Hibernation time, see y'all in six weeks" should be a thing I could say about now.
-t that sounds wonderful. Why can't we do that?

Crowley has been vexing also. I keep having to remind myself that he is still a pup, he will eventually figure this out. The last couple of days he finally seems to have connected that ringing the bells gets the back door opened. Now if he would just figure out that when he needs to go potty, he should ring the bells. Plus, I can take him out once an hour and he will still pee in the kitchen. Ugh!
I assume Capitalism is why not, sj.

Oh, good lord yes. I was sitting in a comfy chair in my flannel nightgown, with a warm cat purring on my lap, and a cup of good coffee on the table next to me this morning. And I really, really didn't want to leave. If I hadn't been in charge of a meeting this morning, I might have called in sick.
Oh, that sounds like heaven.
I can't hibernate, which sounds like an awesome plan, but I can and will have pumpkin pie for lunch.
I don't think the energetic toddler would be up for hibernation, sadly.
