Well done, minus-t! That's pretty much what you're looking for in a Thanksgiving.
Matilda is home sick today after an entire week of vacation off for Thanksgiving. I would like very much to get her back to school tomorrow.
But she's been a good sport, and we played a little catch until she started to feel bad. Then I got her off the TV for a couple hours on an art project and now I've got her in a hot tub to loosen up the chest congestion.
I wish the weather would get colder. If I have to deal with the grey afternoons and short days then I want to at least have my cozy wardrobe on.

I wish I had been home sick today! But am not really sick enough to stay home as an adult. And did get a lot of work done.
Really it's just that my DayQuil wore off a half-hour ago.

Ugh. My work is trying to kill me. One of my clients is super unhappy and it's all a dumpster fire and some folks can't be bothered to do their jobs and I am so behind I want to scream. Grrrrr

- not actually feeling a bad as that makes it sound, but all that is going through my head is all the things I need & want to do and am NOT doing. So there's that going on, and then it's surrounded by a swirl of feelings of invisibility and unattractiveness, with just a dollop of extreme hopelessness and panic.
