Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Sparky1, I'm so sorry. Condolences to your family.

The Dense Fog Advisory this morning was no joke, but I could not stay in bed, alas. Made it to work. Sadly, just being here is not enough, gotta actually do some stuff...

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sparky, that's terrible. I'm so sorry.

Our wings are not tired.

I should be cooking and organizing, and yet.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Crisis averted, meds obtained, though not without a fuckload of work. Which is my own fault.

I also forgot shampoo, but it's a little easier to buy that.

Librarian Warlord

Thanks, everyone. It's rough on my mother, who is the last of the generation.

What is even happening?

Sparky, I'm sorry for your loss.

Congrats to the PixDesigns on the new house.

Dana, my aunt left her prescriptions behind once when we were away on a long weekend. She went to a big chain pharmacy (which wasn't even the one she used at home) and told them which meds she needed. Her doctor's practice was closed, so they verified it with her pharmacy back home and gave her a few days worth of meds. I don't know if that's an option for you. I hope everything works out.

I'm posting to share a story I thought the Buffistas might appreciate.

My cousin just had cancer surgery. Her adult daughter was with her when she was coming out of anesthesia.

They asked her name; she answered.

They asked her date of birth; she answered.

They then asked her who was president. She began with, "That mother-[effing] son of a bitch," and continued on her utterly profane rant about T.Rump, because she was still somewhat out of it. Well, aside from the obvious reasons.

Later, her daughter asked the nurse, "Do you get that often?"

The nurse said, "More often than not."

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
