Yeah, I am sure they will. It is the super nice local theater close to my house. I'm just annoyed.

If anyone is looking for people watching opportunities, may I suggest Chicago's loop theatre district? The Christkindlmarket opened yesterday, A Christmas Carol started previews today, and Escape To Margaritaville opened Wednesday. The Parrotheads, with their hawaiian shirts and beach balls are a really quirky addition to the whole vibe.

Raked up 2 40g bags of leaves today, in addition to helping Brian store stuff in my basement & garage (some to be sold,some for later pickup as truck was full.)

And now it's getting windy and I already see another 2 bags worth on the ground. Oy. And I'm on my own for leaves, as one is traveling and the other just had surgery. Unless I can get the new guy, but he's got a lease thru December, so it will probably just be painters and contractors.

At least I know I get Brian back for a visit to get his stuff.

I think it's fair to note that before leaving, he got us a Ben, who I'm really coming to like. He LOVES to tell me all his house projects, and y'all know how I am about that. Plus, he's construction industry adjacent (architectural metalwork-locals, he's at Gutierrez and did a lot at Woodberry) and has all the #s and insider scuttle, so maybe just maybe I can find a reliable contractor. Or just serial reliable contractors.

Uhg, even more leaves, but wet now, may or may not get to them today. Need to go pants shopping, triple Uhg.

I stayed in bed all day yesterday. Super windy day that makes everything hurt. I am glad it was a Saturday which meant I could stay in bed. BUT it feeds the depression, so getting out of bed today was doubly hard which means I had to make myself do it. Also it feeds a bit of spiraling of me seeing everything that needs to be done and internally freaking out at doing so little of the real stuff that needs doing.

So I got up and went to church to see the parents. I've been to one grocery store to get stuff for Thanksgiving. I have a to do list and fingers crossed I stay on task and plow through it.

I have off Wed - Fri this week, so I hoping to get some deep cleaning done.

Attempted to find dress pants at Kohls, failed. Failed to find a bird feeder at my favorite nursery. Found one at Walmart. So I guess that's a win? Too windy to do leaves. That IS a win, even if it's also a mess.

Off to Target to buy socks and such.

I'm going to get my daith pierced in a little bit, because fuck this migraine.

We ended up canceling on the playdate because Mr. S has been coughing a bit more than usual, and has been cranky boy all day. Turns out the hot water heater in our friends' house broke, so canceling is better for them too.
