I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

2 hours and counting. I need breakfast.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry, Dana.

Hooray Australia!

I stopped by Grocery Outlet between the bus stop and work to look for a belt because my jeans fit is not quite right (I pulled these jeans out of a box yesterday, the size is right again but I forgot that they never actually fit me well). Failed to find a belt, but I did get a bag of Hershey's Kisses and (inspired by msbelle) silver boot/slippers to keep at my desk for when my feet hurt.

Grocery outlet has belts??

Come on, Aussies, vote love!

Work is making me want to smack people around.

Not today, no. They have a tiny selection of random clothing items, you never know what might be there. Today was mostly slippers, socks and some fleece jackets. Fortunately I should be able to stay in my chair most of the day so the misfitting jeans shouldn't bother me too much...

I have had leftover andouille corn chowder and sent a mea culpa email. I feel better. Except for having been in an almost 3-hour meeting where PMs suddenly came up with a whole bunch of new stuff that needs to be documented, which they have never mentioned in previous meetings.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I've gotten casual pants and a workout-type jacket (with thumbholes in the sleeves!) at Grocery Outlet. Good prices, but it's all about timing.

-t, depending on how loose, maybe run a zip tie through a couple belt loops in the back to tighten the waistband a smidge? Or if your workplace isn't the type where you can find zip ties, maybe a binder clip? (Trying to think what I've jury-rigged for myself in similar situations).

Thanks, Epic, I will try a binder clip right now.

Mmmm, andouille corn chowder sounds amazing right now. There was none of that at Grocery Outlet, alas.
