I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Husband thought he had a cold, but after about 24 hours, he's feeling better. I don't care what it was, as long as he didn't give it to me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ha, Tom!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm thinking Mike Tyson would be fairly unmistakable?

He had a hood up so it could have been a shadow and not a face tattoo, but I'm pretty sure it was a tattoo (in a brief glance + doubletake).

I've had a runny nose and congestion but I don't feel sick. I'm going to stick with the theory that it's mold from fallen leaves making my allergies angry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, same. I am clearly not sick, even though everyone around me is.

Our wings are not tired.

At it for 2 hours already, and still don't wanna.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am increasingly glad I got that stuff done on Friday, because I've barely gotten started today.

So, our fancy timeclocks helpfully round to the nearest quarter hour at the beginning and end of the day although not for lunch, apparently, which means if I clock in at 6:37 and out at 3:10 and take a 33 minute lunch I somehow get 12 minutes of OT even though I actually worked exactly 8 hours. And that is to be avoided. I am told.

My manager is in a mood and nitpicking my grammar, and even though I want to argue with her (uh, no, that modifier is not dangling), I am going to let it go. Because she's in a mood.

Did I tell y'all I got my jury duty check? $15/day = mileage for three days = $46.02. I live pretty damn close to the courthouse.

t, I had that at my very first job in a grocery store, they were clear we should not log in more than 6 minutes early because of that (and shouldn't start working until we were logged in). Kind of obnoxious in a professional job though!
