I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

On the one hand, sometimes I feel out of the loop on work things, because my work team is 3 hours ahead of me AND I'm nocturnal. On the other hand, man are they thankful that I'm always around later than them, because when the PtB finally give the signal to publish for our (delayed, so delayed!) tech preview, I can deal with documentation wrangling.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

If we do end up moving again (ha ha ha i am not at all slightly hysterical about this possibility), it would at least be to EST, which would mean no more 7AM meetings.

The status is NOT quo.

Suzi, just catching up. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Cannot handle Matilda in middle school.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm sorry about your aunt, Suzi.

Good for Matilda!

I am not aging at all. Nope. These kids keep growing up and I'm staying right here.

It's finally gotten cold here. So relieved. I've filled the patio cats' little houses with straw and they're happy with that. Time for me to haul out the sweater collection!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

You put sweaters on the patio cats? :)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I got up and came to work on my day off, which seems not to have been enough to get stuff done. Now I guess I actually have to start doing it??

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Well, seemingly chicken sweaters are a thing ...

In unrelated craft news, I recently got a copy of Star Trek Cross Stitch. Some interesting patterns, including one with the phrase "He's dead, Jim" with a border of crewmen lying toes-up.

Ha ha! Did Task 1, and sent an email I had forgotten yesterday!

I have a friend back in town who moved to the Netherlands over the summer, and when we asked what she feels like eating, she said, "Anything but Indonesian," which is not something you hear a lot in Boston!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, fun Toddson!

Putting in the effort of getting to work really ought to be enough, Jesse. Get on that, universe.

So, had a nice final day with Walter. I came into work early so I could leave around 3, picked up In-N-Out on the way home. We sat on his bed in the hallway and I ripped up his double double animal-style no onions and fed the pieces to him so he wouldn't swallow it whole. He always had that bird dog soft mouth but he just didn't have the fine motor control to take the food without nipping my fingers anymore. And for maybe the first time in his life he ate all the lettuce - he used to lick all the sauce off but leave the clean lettuce leaves when he was done. Gave him a bath which is not his favorite but he really needed it, then wrapped him in a towel and carried him to my bed where we snuggled for a couple of hours before going to the vets. I still wasn't completly sure it was the right thing, but when he got the first sedative and his whole body relaxed I realized he hadn't relaxed like that in quite a while and it did seem right.

Weirdly, the vet explaining a few times that we were essentially giving him a barbiturate overdose made me feel better about DH being alone when he went because Walter went very peacefully.

And I should have taken today off from work but I didn't so here I am.
