Ha!
One of my teenagers was super excited about the presence of yellow Laffy Taffy in my bowl. I have only one piece left, but am not convinced it's something I need to add to my simulated experiences!
103 in LA and then a few days to snow for you. But there's no climate change, right?
How can there be snow if there's global warming, Liese? It's just common sense.
Aw, I have come across an invoice where the line for customer agreement is misspelled as "Costumer" and it is utterly charming.
Of course, what was I thinking?
My son stole my coffee pot (and all my booze) and took it to his new apartment while I was up north. I told him to keep it and ordered a French Press. My notion was that it would work better for tea and mate as well as coffee. We shall see. I have never used one! I'm looking forward to it.
I love my French press. I'm ridiculous about it; I'll totally use my Keurig to heat up the water and make the coffee in the French press.
This is the second thing I've read on from one of our group today that made me want to have coffee. I can't, it causes a lot of pain, or rather, I have to want it enough to be willing to spend the next day on the couch drinking water and resting and heating pads or TENS. The thing about coffee is that mouth feel. It's smooth on the tongue, like ice cream, but bitter on the sides of the tongue, and the smell is mmmm heavenly, and then it's hot and warming and leaves a taste behind in the mouth. Mmm

Strangely enough, I had a yellow Laffy Taffy today, courtesy of a passenger who gave away leftover Halloween candy in lieu of tips. It was better than I remembered, although that may have been that it wasn't at all stale.
Netflix has an original show called the Big Family Cooking Show, with families competing against each other. One of the presenters is Nadiya who won one of the GBBOs.
Oooh! I loved her, Connie.
Timelies all!
High temps were in the 70s today. They're supposed to be in the 50s tomorrow, then back up to the 70s on Sunday. Weird.
