And other than that, Ms. Unicorn, how did you like the play?
There is some fine fancy dressing up going on around here.
Apparently if you put two numbers on a phone list and give a parenthetical comment of "(Try 1st)" on one of them people commonly interpret that to mean, "don't ever call this number".
And other than that, Ms. Unicorn, how did you like the play?
Seriously, everyone sitting around me was like "Dude had BETTER not be tempting fate!" (SPOILER: He did not tempt fate.)
That's awesome, Tep! And I am relieved to know Lincoln was okay at the end.
I got myself to work, even though my bus passes all expired while I was on jury duty. Now I have to remember how to do this work thing...
Ahahahaha that's awesome.
Loving reading the Halloween tales. Well done, Jilli. My neighbor does that with a Jason costume and it is awesome to hear the screams coming from 2 doors away.
The kids came and sat out with us eating dinner and watching the festivities. I sent leftover candy home with them. We go to their place tomorrow night for dinner! Did I mention that son & GF have moved in together. They are saving and house searching for the next year and renting for now.
It is a joy to read of your neighborhood, Liese. Being and having good neighbors is all that it is cracked up to be.
Sigh. I only get 4 hours of Jury Duty time for yesterday, I have to use vacation for the rest. And after only giving my 3.75 hours for last Tuesday since I rushed in and worked over 4 hours. Why didn't they wait until after lunch to dismiss me? Oh well.
Oh, hello breakfast I forgot to eat until now. I bet you'll make me feel better about pretty much everything.
I'm having groceries delivered again, heavy bottles and cans. I can manage bulky pasta boxes and some frozen stuff, but hauling heavy stuff up the steps makes my hips deeply unhappy. I'm more than happy to pay someone thirty years younger to haul stuff up the stairs. Plus it gives them a job!
We got no trick or treaters, which is A)A little weird, since we're a block off the main street, in a neighborhood and B)Kinda sad. It seems like most of the kids here descend on a few neighborhoods in a couple of towns, rather than t-or-t'ing in their own areas.
GET SOME DAMN EXERCISE AND BE WITH YOUR KIDS.
My 10 year-old would die of embarrassment if his parents walked around with him, and yet still needs a ride home at the end of the evening. And not all costumes have pockets for carrying a phone. So.
