Wishing peace to those who knew Strega, face to face or via the Board.
-t, my mother sat on a jury for 9+ months, for a case involving the molestation of children. A few years after that, when she was close to 70 (?) she got a summons for Federal Grand Jury duty [an age which would have been an automatic excuse], which would mean that she had to trek into Manhattan every day for a month. She very, very reluctantly approached the judge from the first case, and he got her excused. She still feels both relieved and guilty.
Good luck, Amy!
So sorry to hear about Strega.
Y'all, I do not feel like working. And I have almost the whole day free to work! And plenty of stuff to do! The one time I wish I were in meetings all day....
Dang, Sparky! That would be rough.
I'm doing things! It's pretty exciting.
Yay doing things! I need to get on that. My morning was a farce of the gutter cleaning company getting here early and the cats FREAKING OUT.
But, all now is calm.
I am so sorry about Strega.
I'm back in the Hall of Justice today. Per the plaque outside the door, it's actually Hall of Justice II. I assume that this time it's personal.
