Also, I predict Trump's nickname for Flake, in tomorrow's inevitable Twitter tantrum, will be "Quitter."

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm sure they let you pet the cheetahs, right?
This is what Archer has led me to believe. Or am I thinking of ocelots?
You might be thinking of ocelots.
Aw, Robert Guillaume!
Please check the reviews of any safari company that lets you pet the cheetahs. Especially check for any references to Granny not making it back to the expedition vehicle.
Ten bucks says more than one person put Trump and Kid Rock down for their historical figures. That's probably the type they're looking to exclude. Or Hillary or Bernie on the other side.
I called in sick today (migraine) and stayed in bed until 11:30 when my hips were aching too much to stay any longer. It's improved enough that I can bear to have the lights on, but I probably ought to minimize my screen time.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to make a presentation to the interns at my workplace. The intern coordinator has given me no guidance on what is expected and I only know they were told it would be lighting design because a stage manager saw what the interns were given and told me. I hope these kids are ready for the Socratic method.
I hope these kids are ready for the Socratic method.
Sounds threatening. Don't test me, boy, I have Socrates and I know how to use him!
For voir dire purposes, I think I'd choose Abraham Lincoln and Eleanor Roosevelt. Then they'll know whose side I'm likely to be on.
Tomorrow I'm going to meet a new Internet friend F2F. She raises heirloom sheep and goats and I get to help feed them. Then I'm washing her dishes because she's dealing with depression and physical disability and needs some help. I think it's a fair trade, dishes for goats. (Note that I've never met her IRL before, so I'm hoping she's as cool as her online persona is.)
So groovy Consuela for all the cool travels!
I'm beginning to wonder if my Nemesis is in cognitive decline.
Huh, that must be a disturbing insight into her. I'd not be surprised if you're right. You certainly know what you're looking at.
Aw, Robert Guillaume!
Indeed. I always identified with Jessica and the Benson/Jessica interactions were so delightful. eta: Huge Soap fan. Have seen the episodes multiple times.
I am realizing now with Robert Guillaume-- I think I always wanted Benson to be my dad. I never had a dad, and for my young childhood didn't even really understand that it was "normal" to have a dad, but when you say "dad"- I picture Robert Guillaume on Benson with the governor's daughter. Even though he clearly wasn't her actual dad, but that it what it meant to me at the time.
Aw, Sophia. That's so sweet/sad.
