Back atcha, Maria.
Looks like the bulk of today will be entering and scanning the pile of invoices I stamped last week. I would prefer to be scrivening.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Any teacher types or really anyone, familiar with the Shakespeare baseball verse novel books by Ron Koertge?
Love you too, Maria.
ltc is in a mood today. I can't wait for teething to be over. Meanwhile, I hope her nap is long while I delve into the pile of books I bought at the Halloween Book festival the other day.
Super non-sequitur: I love this place and you people. Thank you. For everything.
We love you too.
ION, it's time to write quarterly goals, and the only ones that come to mind are "Survive this deadline even though the PTB cut two weeks from it", "Survive this deadline without killing my project managers", and "Improve my body disposal skills". Somehow, I don't think my boss will approve those.
Those sound like excellent goals!

It's nice to be able to crowd-source wisdom. It aggregates nicely.
Wisdom of the crowd, for real.
Heh. I overheard a co-worker asking a question about one of my old accounts to someone who didn't know what she was talking about, so I darted over there to get everyone on the same page and got to literally say "since I'm not over there any more no one knows how this works", which was pretty satisfying.
Then I picked up what I thought was a double chocolate muffin that I think is actually bran, so, on balance, still Monday.
Dear G-D in heaven, some of the Kids On Tumblr have decided that embedding autoplay music on their pages is a great idea.
Campbell's Jazzy Jambalaya is not great. Taste is ok, but it is definitely soup. I would call it disappointing, but it's about what I expected. I don't know why I felt compelled to try it, but if that tiny chance that it was good had paid off I would have been pretty excited.
