Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that, Tom. I hate insomnia
Aww Matt, you are doing good work. Go kittens!

In bereavement news, I'm starting to wish people were bringing casseroles, because I was just eating brownie from one set of neighbors when I noticed some new biscotti from another set! We also got blueberry muffins today.
Thank goodness for my mother's old school friend who brought calzones.
No one brought you a ham?
And you're in Boston, no one is gonna bring you a frito chilli casserole. Which was a staple of every midwestern gathering I've been to. That sucks. (Why I remember you getting the frito pie dish at Golden West, I don't know.)
I loved that Frito pie! And basically had Frito pie for dinner twice last week. So that was satisfying.
No one has brought us a ham. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and am enjoying all the baked goods, but it's not exactly healthy eating.
We had so many pizza strips and calzones when my step grandmother passed, we didn't know what to do with them. We ended up bringing a bunch to the staff of the nursing home.
Mmm, frito pie. Tangentially, I nostalgically bought a can of Campbell's Chili Mac today. Not that I have had Campbell's version before, but I am confident it will be like my cafeteria lunch memories.
How interesting, the geographical differences in funerary food offerings!
So, I finished watching Dark Matter (boo on cancellation!) and can't decide what to watch next on my commute My spreadsheet of TV shows I need to catch up on us in some disarray. . Any suggestions?
Everyone brought my dad food after mom passed, mostly because my dad's lack of cooking skills was the stuff of legends. He can cook, and he enjoys cooking. But the things he "throws together" make no sense and are really odd.
I just saw a job title I was unfamiliar with. Intimacy director?
Huh. That's a title that requires some context and possibly footnotes.
