ok you cold weather wanting people. I have found 102 units in 3 apartment complexes on the same street, right be side each other in Omaha, NE. Studios up to 3 br. We would turn some whole buildings into guest spaces, communal living areas and even a dining space for group meals. 4.4 mil, so if 50 go in, that's be less than $100K each.

Omaha is not that cold. Some snow in the winter, hot in the summer, potential for tornadoes in the spring... like KC but with less freezing rain. I did like what I saw of Omaha when I was there for a week.
I do think the upper midwest will be less impacted by climate change for longer than other areas.
In other news, I just fired off an application for a job in the upper peninsula of MI. Because f*** 80F in October, man.
I've thought about moving north a LOT. Because fuck 80+F in October.

I thought it was heated floors. They have them here.
Ah, that makes sense.
I think I could do Nebraska. I like this 3 apt complex compound idea.
Can the compound span the US-Canada border? I'm staying here for the healthcare!
