Today I finally got around to sending in a sexual harassment complaint to a vendor. The vendor's HR rep wants to talk to me now, so that should be fun. Having the complaint sent is a bit of a relief though.

So my cats spent 3 hours with a D.O.G. Inspection at Brian's, so he came over here with his little Italian greyhound, Jeep, who stayed on his lap the whole time. Loki was hinked and watched from the stairs (though he did come down once to rub on B's head, but then Jeep got lungy and Loki inflated and retreated.) Pumpkin, otoh...Well. She stared him down, then deliberately lolled on the carpet gratuitously. After I left for the pool, she joined them on the couch AND WENT TO SLEEP for almost 2 hrs, letting B pet her. Fearless, that one, indeed.

Sometimes you just need a lot of sleep. Bodies iz weird.

I've been wondering... If the Cubs make into the World Series this year and lose, will we revert to the timeline we *should* be on? Or would we have to go back and undo last years win? Filed under "things I can't say out loud".

(psst, I skipped work today because I woke up only a little bit late everything kept going further south in stupid little ways and I just called it. Got my emissions test done and a few other minutiae. And hey, was home when Brian called looking for a place to park.)

Perfectly clear sky with no moon in the mountains tonight. Even with it already 42 I could have slept outside laying on my back filling my vision with stars. Spectacular.

eta: This was after going to see the movie The Mountain Between Us tonight and realized with all that beautiful scenery they never showed the stars.

I wish I could see stars. I've missed star gazing since I moved to urban California.

The news said the air quality has Beijing levels of particulates. I am miserable in my airways, but at least I still have a house.
