Natter 75: More Than a Million Natters Served
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I have kitten fever myself, but better sense is prevailing. I like my status quo. I think I'd like to get into kitten fostering, but will need to do some house work first (so doors latch.)
And there's at least 2 opening cat cafes nearby AND a PetValu right under my office that has rescue kittens usually.
2 doors down from me: [link]
If only I could manage the commute.
I also like Buddy. [link]
Of course, you have to apply and stuff, so I guess I couldn't get one this weekend anyway.
He's taken good care of it. He demands quality work whenever he hired a contractor. Kitchen is old but clean, simple and functional, just basic. Basement is finished. Can't wait for pix to go up.
I started getting Green Chef meal kits and just made my 2nd meal. I'm meh enough about I might just toss it and get a peanut butter sandwich. And I have a pile of dishes to clean up.
I did time the start of this poorly though. The first delivery was the day after I had a tooth pulled and I was starting tech the following week with no time to cook, so the ingredients are not as fresh as they're probably meant to be.
Can't wait for pix to go up.
They're up. I love the purple and green in the bathroom.
Aw, Earl. Morticia!! Cats!
Will wait for a bigger screen to look at sarameg's neighbor house. Funnily enough, when I was over at my parents' talking through the layoff my Dad said "maybe one of you Buffista friends will know of a great opening in Baltimore". In that moment, I wondered why he specified Baltimore. Had I mentioned it recently? Maybe. Or maybe he sensed this house calling to me. Not that I could actually buy it, but oh it calls.
Guess who has two thumbs and a jury summons for next month! Just in case I'm in danger of being too comfortable in my daily routine by then, I guess.
Eventful night, had a meet & greet for my 30th HS reunion and a tour of the school, then dim sum for dinner, then while I was hanging out on the back deck with the neighbors a guy came running through the alley and vaulted a wall beside a parking lot with police in pursuit. Apparently he was fleeing them in a chase, crashed his motorcycle into the Welcome to Jonesboro sign, and took off on foot—toward the BBQ festival happening adjacent to the police station.
Wow Matt that is eventful.
