Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Indeed.

I mean, I should also be working, but eh.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm so sorry, Sophia.

Our wings are not tired.

I made yummy soup and brought it next door to share with step-dad. We went to his surgeon follow up yesterday and he was given driving privileges back. He is really doing incredibly well. Nasty triple by-pass a month ago and he has mowed his lawn, and doing all manner of normal daily stuff. All doctors very impressed.

Soup was quick variety. Sauteed celery, carrots, garlic, then added canned tomato-basil soup and some orzo pasta I cooked separately. Good stuff for a chilly day.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go step-dad of Laura! Excellent news.

Express bus sounds way nicer than driving, good luck -t!

Sophia, condolences. And Pix that sucks big balls. The Empress is good at snoring. [eta: SMITING, not snoring]

Bee, at least there's pretty strong renter rights in DC?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The BBQ place I've been repeatedly trying and failing to eat at the last two weeks used up its last chance today. I finally caught them open (as they have not been during their posted business hours on 3 previous attempts), stood in line behind two women at the window, and after several minutes of being ignored they left, followed by me a couple minutes later. Just left them a scathing review on facebook and dropped their rating by 4/10 of a point.

BBQ sandwich from the nearby Arby's was filling if bland, but at least I'd ordered it, paid, and been handed my food in less time than I spent trying to make eye contact at the food truck.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So sorry, Sophia.

Pix, your agent should totally file a complaint however they can. Won't you the house, but will get you the moral satisfaction of possibly getting Tino punished for his actions.

Yeah, our agent is going to report him to MLS so there will be something, but right now that's not much comfort. I've honestly been watching Zillow for the better part of 2.5 years and this the only house that has come up in our preferred area that met all of our criteria, was ready to move in, and within our budget.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Twitter is claiming that Price is out at HHS.

Our wings are not tired.

Delighted if the Price news is for real, but that swamp is still quite full.
