My kinda-sorta SiL is really into those Thrive shakes and vitamin patches. I don't think she's gone down the path of selling them, but she certainly evangelizes about them. And she's usually good about science, so I don't get why she has this blind spot about vitamin stickers being Super Effective.

Sorry to be such a killjoy. I'm just horrified at the options those in the islands face. Continental coast too, but islands, you're just a pebble plowed over and there is no highway inland. (I get viscerally kinda freaked out on islands. But then, the ocean weirds me out too. Not a candidate for island life.)

Guys, I have been up since 2am angry with mr. flea and how am I even going to live through this week? I would like some kind of gold start for not waking him up and shouting at him. (The angriness is because although we've been planning this major home project for literally six months, he did not fully engage with basic things until Sunday, when our choices were due Monday. So while I have been researching fridges online for weeks, and was ready to make a final decision Sunday, he *started* Sunday, and he's a slow-moving guy, and I am GOING TO KILL HIM.)
