It's weird realizing I'll have to drive everywhere. That hasn't been true for me since high school.
I didn't get my driver's license until I moved to Norfolk VA at 21. I got a new job and they told me part of my job was driving to the bank and post office. When I told them I didn't have a license they looked at me like I was from outer space. They assigned another employee as my licensed driver and taught me to drive.
Honestly, that was the least of the culture shock that hit me moving to the South.
Hooray, Tommyrot!

Yes. Yes you will.
People, the universe should make this house thing happen so I can stop annoying everyone with my obsessing over it.
Wow, Tom! Good luck settling in and everything.
Tom, good luck! Sorry, am self-absorbed and horrid at the moment.
Welcome to your new home, Tommyrot.
Matt and I are talking about a camper van. Afull Rv is too much, but the flexibility of campervan has appeal ( I do not want a home away from home)
In other news I am having chicken nuggets for dinner. I wanted fried chicken , but I didn't want to drive anywhere. so I went to the corner store and found nuggets. This is a grown up dinner because it includes wine and roasted cauliflower
Pix, it's such a fantastic house. I would self-absorbed, too. House~ma!
tommy, yay for a successful move! Welcome to the suburbs!
