we're married to similar men. Teach him to knit! H does sudoku incessantly when he's not building, repairing, or improving something for us or the neighbors. If he sits, he dozes off. Must stay busy!
Even the same with the Sudoku! He is not only addicted, but he is fiercely competitive and has to get new high scores.
Storm seems to be falling apart and moving further east staying over land. Still going to find a big mess in the morning many places. None of my family has power.
I'm scared to even look for images of Miami. The shelter where my sister works is a designated shelter-in-place, and my BiL (who has a construction background) has been helping them all week to make it as air and water-tight as possible, but because she's working she hasn't had time to let us know anything yet.
So it looks like the storm turned inland so it will spare much of Sarasota/St. Pete/Tampa.
It'll hit Orlando now, but it'll be much weaker traveling over land and it won't cause as much storm surge.
So that's good. Unless you're Disney.
Our friends who live near Orlando lost power in the last half hour or so. They think power was cut to keep transformers from blowing. (I have no idea how they can know that, but that's what they said.) They're expecting to lose cell service shortly.
ION, I want to get some vetiver and bergamot oil for smell-good purposes, not for any alleged health benefits. Who should I buy them from? I want to make sure no money goes to Young Living or doTerra.

Tenzig Momo, my favorite Seattle witchy / herbalist shop! They're who I buy (almost) all of my oils from, and they do have both bergamot and vetiver. [link]
Oh, lovely! And of course the two I want are pricey. Hm, a use for the yearly hurricane overtime money.
Just heard from my niece. They are fine. Some damage to their roof, but nothing serious. They already have their power back. I'm so relieved.
