I'm sorry, Matt.
I took today off, mostly because I was exhausted at work yesterday and and and. That should be enough. Also next week will be packed with busy activities and arrangements for the memorial on Saturday, so I want to get what rest I can today and tomorrow.
Getting rest today sounds like a wise plan, Consuela.
Sorry for your loss, Matt. Much peace and strength to you and his loved ones.
I'm sorry for your loss, Matt.
I'm so sorry Matt.
There is just a lot of awful right now. I don't understand how everyone is not exhausted.
I'm so sorry, Matt. Peace to his beloveds, and to you.
All best possible thoughts to those in Irma's path, and the Mexican earthquake and subsequent threatening tsunami, and those recovering in Houston, and to all the firefighters in PNW.
We had rain and thunder this morning. Didn't last long, didn't reach anywhere nearly far enough east and south, but I'm grateful for a glimpse of blue sky, and easier breathing.
So when God ignores all the prayers of the Bible thumpers and Irma comes straight up the middle of Florida, that will be because God is punishing them for allowing gays to get married and not because God is punishing them for being rotten Christians and not following the rules Jesus gave them, right?
It's basically God going CLIMATE CHANGE, BITCHEZ.
I'm sorry, Matt.
If any other Buffistas or Buffista-adjacent people are evacuating to NC, I have a spare room with a futon that one would be welcome to.
Ugh. Was trying to work, didn't feel great, came back to my sister's. They're frantically spiffing up for someone to look at the house in an hour. I've just now had a second round of puking. Do not want. Do not want one bit. (Also, am supposed to drive five hours to a wedding tomorrow morning...)
