Punishingly Intricate

Apparently if your secret dream is to live out Mad Max: Fury Road in real life, Burning Man is the place to be this year.
What's going on? I have friends up there

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Love the island, although given what is going on with climate, I think an island may not be the best bet . Maybe we need a mountain village.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This week's Buffista Island for sale: [link]

I want to go to there.

I am afraid to ask what this means, but also curious.

Same.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

In Florida, using my FIL's computer to check in.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I thought dust storms were a normal part of the entertainment?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I'm at the part of my four-day weekend where I realize I don't have any plans with anyone except my mother, and is it too lame to start asking local people if they are in town now?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Holy Fuckarino, it got up to 104 in San Francisco today. That's the all-time record. (Going back to 1874, and the oldest weather station in California.)

Our apartment is relatively cool so when I went outside I was surprised by how quickly I sweated through my shirt. And I remember thinking, "I don't remember it *ever* being quite this hot. This feels like getting out of the car at the gas station on I-5 in August hot."

And it was.
