Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That all sounds promising, Laura.

Sara, wouldn't the lifeguard or someone keep your keys? I mean, because it's you?

This is the city pool. I'm normally only a weekend swimmer there, so probably only a handful of guards even recognize me!

Fingers crossed for a good offer, tommyrot!

He really is a great candidate for the surgery.

Well, that's good news. Surgery~ma.

I am very dubious about Mr. Tennys Sandgren's hair and facial hair choices.

My goodness, that is very Tennessee.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

As a coordinator, Steph, I would say, you should definitely be cc'ing your coordinator on this clusterfork. I'd want to know, and also step in. You really shouldn't have to deal with this all by yourself.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Surgery~ma for your dad, Laura.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The coordinator is the one who passed on the message from Ronnie that I allegedly didn't send the files to the uncomprehending author. He's the one I explained everything to, and he ALSO said that he didn't see confirmation in the database that I sent the files. I actually just sent the screenshots to him, not Ronnie, because I didn't want to leapfrog up the chain of command.

I feel like my coordinator isn't understanding what I'm saying, but he didn't feel there was a need to discuss it over the phone. I suspect if the flaky author hasn't responded by tomorrow, there may need to be phone calls.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Steph, that sucks.

Much heart ~ma to Laura's Step Dad.

My mom is getting her sight back, but didn't blow up when I suggested if she could no longer drive that I pay for her car repair and then drive her to things.

My uncle is OK, I guess. My aunt still hasn't let anyone else sit with him.

In bruising questions, I got some bruises Friday moveing my office furniture around. They are just now starting to color. Is that normal? In theatre, I feel like I am doing bruise make-up right after fights happen, but that never happened to me!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Test drove a car today. Prius C . Have decided I need to buy sooner than planned before the flooded cars start hitting the market and everyone also has to replace.

I'm flying to Atlanta for DragonCon on Wednesday. I'm supposed to return to SF on Monday, but now I need to be in NYC that week for work. Rather than flying to the West Coast and then turning around and flying back to the East Coast, would it make more sense to pack a giant bag with con clothes + work clothes, and pay to change my flight?
