Neighborhood wine night. And I got my recluse neighbor across the street(who I didn't meet until this weekend! And she's been here 32 years!) to attend. And she's signing up for more and joined a bookclub/foodclub another neighbor participates in. She's super interesting, I think she's just an introvert like me who hasn't been pressed to expand since she retired but is actually really game to meet neighbors if otherwise initiated.

It was good.

OK, not down the street from my sister. Sounds pretty fun, though

Made some decent banana muffins last night. Not outstanding, but considering I used milk on the verge of spoiling, bananas that were frozen about three days past the point of no return, and expired baking powder, not bad at all.

Way to salvage ingredients from the brink of despair!

A 7AM meeting means I'm ready for lunch by about...now.

I'm trying to work from home, but this seems to mostly involve being stomped on by cats.

Loki got his postsurgical checkup and all is good. But it seems his new thing is peeing in the carrier. Interestingly, always when I've taken him solo. Never happened when I took all the cats at once, so might be related. Though how Pumpkin's tortured cries are calming, I don't pretend to know.

I know I'm an hour later than you, Dana, but I just realized with sadness and hunger that I have an 11:30 meeting. At least I had a snack.

Yay: My meeting was cancelled, so now I have lunch.

Boo: I forgot to check the popup in the lobby before I went out, so I missed having my favorite.

OMG I do not want to be at work today. But too much to do, so here I am.
